1451 International, Ltd., holds several exclusive worldwide licenses with the Vatican Library. Given the wide range of our licenses and the size of the Library's collection , the potential scope of 1451 International's project is extraordinary:

The Fine Art License permits 1451 International to produce limited- edition and open-edition prints and posters;

The Sculpture License permits us to reproduce ancient coins and to produce works in bronze, terra-cotta, porcelain, and glass;

The Publishing License permits us to publish children's board and picture books, educational texts, trade books, and electronic media;

The Greeting Card License permits us to produce general occasion and seasonal greeting cards, boxed stationery, note cards and pads, calendars, diaries, address books, and paper products;

Finally, the Apparel license permits 1451 International to produce all clothing and accessories including scarves, ties, as well as christening and communion apparel.

1451's licenses operate on two levels: reproduction and interpretation. Reproduction means we can identically reproduce any work in the library in any scale. Interpretation means we can re-imagine existing works, such as creating a three-dimensional piece from a two-dimensional image.
